The software will be set up and linked to your Entra ID (previously known as Azure AD), granting your users access rights to the empower^® Library.
Additionally, we’ll install the client together with you, ensuring that key users have empower^® installed for their initial customization.

Typically, the setup of a slide library takes one week. Initially, your IT team needs to link your Entra ID (or Okta) with the empower Library to enable Single Sign On (SSO). After that, you can begin importing your slides and presentations and launch the software once the initial framework is established.

Once you have established a framework for the library and prepared the slides and presentations, you can promptly upload the data and initiate the rollout.

Your IT department needs to link your Entra ID or Okta authentication provider with the empower Slide Library in Azure. Following this, your IT department only needs to distribute the add-in and upload the manifest for the web add-in.

By default, the data is stored in a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment that we set up specifically for you. This ensures compliance with data protection regulations for data stored outside your IT infrastructure.

Yes, you have the option to connect to SharePoint Online & Teams. Presentations stored on SharePoint & Teams will appear in the slide library, allowing easy searchability. Users can continue using SharePoint & Teams as their file repository without changing their workflow. empower creates an index of these files, which resides in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Alternatively, your IT team can host the so called “SharePoint Indexer” themselves to keep all data under their control.

Integrating SharePoint & Teams with empower^® involves collaboration with your IT colleagues. We inform them beforehand and provide professional support throughout the process. Typically, the integration is completed after a few sessions, but the timeline may vary based on the complexity of your SharePoint & Teams setup as well as technical requirements.

Absolutely! You can create custom sections and subfolders within the library to store images, icons, slide templates, and more. For a large number of design assets, we recommend empower^® Brand Control, which provides a convenient quick-access toolbar for enhancing all presentations.

Only individuals with appropriate permissions can do so. We allocate these rights sparingly to maintain order in the library while ensuring a manageable circle of users with extended privileges. We’re here to advise you on this.

No, we carefully assign rights for saving, modifying, and deleting files. Other users can access and use files but cannot save, move, or delete them within the library. This prevents unauthorized actions and maintains order.

Typically, our customers distribute the task of maintaining library content across various individuals within the organization. Division by departments, topics, locations, or languages ensures effective management.

Microsoft Copilot has access to all files that the user is authorized to access via Microsoft Graph. It therefore accesses all files, i.e. both current and older or obsolete files. As things stand today, it is not able to distinguish intelligently between current and outdated information and ensure that information it is up to date. Microsoft advises its customers to tackle their own data governance, i.e. to ensure that all storage locations are organized. In our view, the effort involved is not economically feasible. In comparison: Most corporate PC users already struggle to keep their desktop tidy, and there are still few files on it compared to corporate file systems.

The Slide Library offers an import function that allows you to import folder structures visible in Windows Explorer. Additionally, you can connect to your SharePoint Online, enabling direct access to files stored there via the Slide Library in PowerPoint. Individual presentations can also be added to the library with just a few clicks using the save functions of empower.

Charging additional fees for the administration rights of software is unappealing and makes no sense. It goes without saying that the software used can be configured free of charge and therefore no additional costs are incurred. Administration rights can be granted as often as necessary for the efficient management of the library.
